In short

This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies before you choose. We use analytics cookies only if you accept them in the consent banner, rejecting is as easy as accepting, and we use no advertising, retargeting or profiling cookies at all.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, for example — work the same way. We use them for two purposes only: to remember your cookie choice, and, with your consent, to measure how the site is used.

Strictly necessary (always active)

We store your consent choice in your browser's local storage under the key ikigaia-cookie-consent, so we don't ask again on every visit. This is required for the consent mechanism itself and is not used for tracking. It remains until you clear your browser storage.

Analytics (only after you accept)

If you accept analytics cookies, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0F7MG41829), operated by Google Ireland Limited. It sets cookies in the _ga family to produce aggregate statistics: pages viewed, approximate location at city level, referring site, device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised, Google Signals and advertising features are switched off, and the data is not used for advertising or profiling. These cookies expire within two years, or sooner if you withdraw consent and clear them.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Before you choose, analytics_storage and all advertising signals are set to denied; analytics is set to granted only when you accept.

Advertising and profiling cookies

None. We do not run advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking on this site.

Changing your choice

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies and local storage in your browser settings — the banner will then appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser; the site works normally without them.

Legal basis and your rights

Strictly necessary storage relies on our legitimate interest in operating the site; analytics relies on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the Finnish Electronic Communications Services Act). You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
